If you encounter the following error when trying to connect your Google account to EmailBison:
This typically means your Google Workspace administrator has not yet approved the OAuth client ID used by EmailBison.
Follow these steps to authorize Google account connections in EmailBison:
Visit admin.google.com
Log in using your admin credentials
Go to:
Security -> API Controls -> App Access Control
Click the “Add App” dropdown and select "OAuth App Name or Client ID"
Paste in the OAuth Client ID visible in your Bison dashboard
Select the application from the list
Click Select again
Mark the app as Trusted
Click Finish
Once the app is approved in your Google Admin Console:
Return to the EmailBison Connect Google O’Auth Screen
Enter your name and email address
You’ll be redirected to Google’s authentication flow
Click Continue to authorize access
The connection should complete within a few seconds
A confirmation message will appear once the account is successfully connected
