If you're seeing the “Multiple workspaces detected in same session” message and being redirected to the dashboard, it usually means that two or more users are sharing the same login credentials across multiple workspaces, which triggers a security response in the platform.
What Happens When This Occurs?
You will be redirected to the main dashboard.
Any ongoing actions (like navigating or replying) may be interrupted.
This is a session-level protection, not a bug.
How to Fix It
1. Do Not Share Login Credentials
EmailBison accounts are designed for individual use only. Sharing logins across team members can lead to access conflicts and security issues.
2. Use Separate User Accounts
Invite your team members (e.g. inbox managers, assistants) to each relevant workspace.
Assign them the appropriate role (e.g. Admin, Editor, or Client).
Each person will then use their own credentials and have secure access across all shared workspaces.
Note: Each workspace functions as a sub-account. Bison isolates sessions per user and workspace to ensure data stays private and secure.
Still Seeing Issues?
If you've already set up individual user accounts and are still seeing session conflicts, contact your dedicated support chat and let us know which accounts are involved so we can investigate further.
