There are two primary types of campaigns you can create: Outbound Campaigns and Reply Follow-Up Campaigns. Here's how they differ and when to use each.
An outbound campaign is the standard campaign type.
You start by uploading a list of contacts, then enroll them into an email sequence. These are typically used for cold outreach, lead generation, or introducing your offer to a new audience.
A reply follow-up campaign is designed for a more targeted use case: engaging leads after they’ve already replied to you.
This type of campaign allows you to:
Push leads into a new sequence based on their reply.
Continue the conversation in the same email thread, keeping things personal and consistent.
Re-nurture leads or send helpful resources based on a positive response.
It’s a great way to follow up naturally and keep your engagement going without starting a brand new thread.
